Quickmark – Another Useless Application? NO!

Today I got a weird comment on one of my posts and some person (or something like that) told me to try Quickmark – a barcode reader…

I knew that it’s a spam message and I deleted the link he gave with his name (you can’t fool me 🙂 ), but I still gave it a chance and tried the application. A total dissapointment. First of all it doesn’t work 😐 at least not with my N73…second: why would I need another barcode reader and who uses the barcode reader anyway? Doesn’t matter…

Please if some of you readers would try and have a different opinion on this software, please tell me and I’ll apologize, but until then, I keep my opinion that this application is a waste of time.

LGC Jukebox Better Then The Default Music Player?

My answer is NO. To be honest, the default music  player is much better then this one, at least it is for me, because I like things to be simple and I like them to do exactly what they’re made for.

This player is OK though and don’t let my opinion change your mind…Download it and try it.

GDesk – A New Way To Make Your Desktop Unique

 

Today I tried this software and it seemed pretty interesting to me because I really like it when something is customizable and the one thing we can say about GDesk is that it’s one of the most customizable applications ever.

GDesk is a customizable and expendable desktop system. Icons can be placed on the desktop representing applications, page links and plug-ins; these can then be launched by tapping them.
Plug-ins can be added at any time and as required; further plug-in functionality will be provided over time.

Please do not install it if you don’t have experience with Symbian devices because it can mess up your phone and you will have to reinstall the whole OS again.

To be honest, it is not exactly what I would call an easy operation because you have to go through a few steps in order to make this function work properly. There are a few steps that are very well described here.

Gallery Problem – Let Me Guess: Memory Card Images Invisible?

I had a problem with my phone. I don’t know how many of you have had the same issue but in case someone has this problem he can find the solution here:

If you can’t see your images stored on the memory card here’s what you have to do:

• Connect phone in mass storage mode (when you connect the phone to the computer it prompts you and you have to select mass storage mode)
• On the computer right click on the drive and select properties.
• A new pop-up appears: select tools -> choose ‘check now’ -> check the boxes (‘Automatically Fix File Sytem Errors’ and ‘Scan for and Attempt of recovery of bad sectors’)
• After it finishes safely remove the USB and Done! I hope it works…it did work for me.

I think a Nokia is beautiful with a good theme but only if the Standby screen is ‘clean’. I don’t really like using the active standby icons because it adds a calendar line and so on… My opinion is that it is much more beautiful if it’s clean.
